I have 3 brass plates, but do not know how to identify to each vehicle. 1. Body B 252, No;462/2360 2. Body B255, No;126/776 3. Body B259 no;168/8464. I have my own PB, so one of the above may be for my car. The others free to current owners. Nick.

Nick, if your car has its original body you will find the body number, that is the last figure after the "/", stamped into the body timber above the passenger's knees thus:
I'm not sure if your PB is a 2 or 4 seater but my 2 seater PA has body type B251 and I would guess a PB 2 seater would have the same.
Cheers,

No expert here but I suspect a sticky page might be a good thing |

1. Body B 252, No;462/2360 PA0748 is reported to have MG body tub number 462 (this may be an error in transcribing Factory records) as the equivalent Carbodies number is 419, not 2360!
However 462/2360 is more likely to be PA1447 - a 4-seater. On Register but unknown for many a day.
2. Body B255, No;126/776 Body type is NA but we do not know which car the plate came from.
3. Body B259 no;168/8464 KN Saloon. KN0332 Now in the USA I can put the owner in touch with you if you'd like!
Alas none of these plates come from a PB - the body type for which is 252 (4-seater) and 251 (2-seater)
