Interesting to see that a 6 cylinder car is shown on the lubrication charts. Was this the default drawing for all lubrication charts?

Rainer: it does seem that they used the 6 cylinder car for all diagrams even the 4 cylinder. My PB manual is the same a this one. On the diagrams not shown fully open in the photo above the card actually refers to "PB, PA and Magnette models" in the text. So, it seems they were using this diagram for multiple manuals.

I'd never noticed before but my P manual, an original first edition dated April '34, also uses a six cylinder chassis for the oiling charts. Really why not? All the point of attention are the same, so why go to the expense of two drawings?

Interesting that the recorded milage at the “new “delivery date was 1770.

How might that be explained?
