Details of the Car for Sale you selected
This car was built in May 1930 and retains its original engine (M 1269) and chassis (2M 1502). MMM reg. no. 284. VSCC Buff Form. I have just completed an extensive restoration, principally of the engine which is still running in (up to 80 psi oil pressure), at a cost of over £12,000. I can provide a copy of the detailed invoices from Classic Performance Engineering at Bicester Heritage. During my ownership I have also renewed the hood, tonneau cover and the carpets, fitted flashing indicators, stop light and sealed beam headlights, and the brakes are in as new condition. The car has covered some 1,000 miles with me; it cruises comfortably at 50 mph with very stable steering and sports 4 nearly new Blockley tyres of the original specification. The car has a 4-speed gearbox with the MG remote gear change. The price includes an original, spare 3-speed gearbox for purists. A nice accessory is a clock with an octagonal bezel which can be seen in the picture of the interior. The instruments have been restored and re-calibrated by Speedy Cables. The car is offered complete with its own trailer and cover (see photo). The car can be viewed by arrangement with Bicester Heritage where it is garaged and coddled in their storage hangar.

Price offers around 30,000GBP
