| L1 for sale. Chassis # L0267; engine # 503AL; MMM register # 1086; NAMMMR # 474. First sold to Mr. C. McLaughlin on March 22nd 1933 by University Motors with registration # MG 2141. Exported to Ontario, Canada in 1965 and re-imported to UK in 1992 where it underwent a complete and thorough restoration between 1992 and 1995. Engine rebuilt with new crankshaft and pistons. Gear box and rear axle rebuilt by Tom Dark engineering. Marshall J100 supercharger fitted in 2001. Starts readily with oil pressure 70 PSI, runs really well and cruises 60-70 mph with no problem. Painted in Stratos blue enamel with red leather interior; weather equipment includes hood, side screens, hood bag and full tonneau. Reimported to Ontario, Canada in 2007 where it has been driven regularly and stored in a heated garage. Recent improvements include a SS exhaust and five new 19” wire wheels with Blockley tires and correct spinners. Direction indicators have been added and all lights are LED. Comes with invoices and pictures during restoration, a set of tools, manual, original carbs with manifold and Carcoon storage. An older restoration still in excellent condition and well sorted. Stored in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada at the moment. Price includes transportation to UK (egTilbury/Southampton). More photos available.
