Chassis number PA1792. Now being sold by the family of the late owner. When purchased in 1982 the car had a Ford 100E engine and its original MG PA gearbox, both of which have been retained. The owner fitted the currently installed XPAG-type engine and gearbox some years ago. The 100E engine and PA gearbox are included in the sale. This is a fantastic opportunity to purchase and restore this 1934 MG PA Sports which is recorded as having been a Works development car, which was retained by the MG factory before sale to the first owner in Church Stretton, Shropshire in 1936. Regularly used until recent years. Originally green, the car was painted white some time after the 1998 Regency Run. The chassis number, body tub number and plate, bonnet hinge, gearbox and rear axle stampings have been viewed by Register representatives and confirmed to be original. Registration mark UJ 6969 Has current V5C, recent Collingburn style leather bench seating and a substantial quantity of parts necessary for a restoration.
