| J3355 with original registration and MMM no 2098. Professionally restored in 1986 (photos) and limited mileage since. Owned by me since 2005 with detailed record of use and maintenance. Black with green leather interior and green piped black hood, sidescreens and tonneau. My improvement work includes partial gearbox rebuild, re-engine turned dashboard with correct rebuilt instruments, J4 mirror, rebuilt dynamo with diode control, rebuilt headlamps, flashers fitted, new exhaust system, new steering drop arm, very new Excelsior 3-block tyres on powder coated wheels, new brake linings and drums, new rear wheel bearings with modified hub seals, high level brake light, discrete electric fan with dashboard switch, recent new Lincoln long battery and very recent complete professional cylinder head rebuild with new valves, springs, cam bearings and oil seals and also full flow oil filter system then fitted. Many useful spares, lots of paperwork and records. The car has won MGCC and major show awards in recent years.
I am reluctantly selling the car as it has had very little use in the last few years due to old age (mine!) and other old cars owned. Car is near Newcastle upon Tyne. Price 33,000 GBP or near offer |
