| 1932 MG J2 (J2583). Original registration number MG2037. Fully restored from 2001 to 2010 and only 3500miles since completion. New polished and ported cylinder head from Baynton Jones including Super-sports camshaft, all new bevel gears and vertical drive. Counter- balanced crankshaft and reconditioned short engine by Ken Robinson.
New flywheel, clutch assembly and exhaust manifold from Barry Foster. 1 1/8” rebuilt carbs. New 2-brush dynamo and regulator. Radiator re-cored. New 12” brakes plus hubs, wheels and Blockley tyres. Gearbox and axles rebuilt, new cw & p, half-shafts, bearings,lip-seals, road-springs and propshaft. New ashframe tub skinned in aluminium. Collingburn leather bucket seats. New battery and full rewire with electronic fuel pump, electric fan, indicators etc. Full tonneau, no hood and very minor paintwork blemishes but overall excellent condition and needs using.
