| J2385, orig reg OY 4077 is an extremely well rebuilt J2, taken down to the last nut and bolt and restored meticulously and reassembled by Henderson Motors. The body tub was replaced with a new one from Sport&Vintage, and new aluminium panels fitted to the left bonnet and sides. New petrol tank, new tyres, new brake parts and improved larger front discs . New wiring loom and with replacement rear and sidelights also from S&V. The engine is a completely new J2 engine from block to pistons to Crank, commissioned from Ken Robinson of Slough Engineering, who also refurbished the gearbox and rear axle completely. The engine was uprated to be able to take a supercharger if needed, specifically the Phoenix crank. The engine is thus the strongest possible if events are in mind. Every part of the car was overhauled in the 2 year process of restoration completed in 2014. New hood, and a weather cover. Upgraded and correct J2 carburettor, new shock absorbers, new kingpins/bushes in all wheels, and all rubbers renewed throughout. The car is now in a superb condition in Wiltshire, near Bath, and is reluctantly for sale at far below the cost of its restoration Price 32,500 GBP |
