| Covid restrictions are finally lifted in Sweden! Mille Miglia or going into Pre-war racing?
MG PB 0635. Built Dec.1935 first registered: January 1936. I bought PB0635 from Barry Bone and imported it to Sweden in 1992. Total restoration was finished in 2013 and has been registered in Sweden since. I was awarded the MGCC Sweden ”Restoration of the year award 2014”, and have enjoyed driving it 2900 miles since. Everything on the car is of course working. I have participated in Jakriborg Prix (regularity) since 2014(last place) to 2016(3rd)! Engine APB282 has Phoenix crankshaft, Corello conrods and Cosworth pistons. Sports cam, preparing it for using supercharger (Volumex, carburator, drive axle, 2 manifolds, safety valve and pressure gauge were bought and are included in the price of the car). The car was so potent that at my age, 81 now, I never installed the kit. Oil pressure warm is 60+ without smoke. Mentioning a few of the components: Original gearbox, original rear axle and original UK registration number is available. New water pump added, new radiator core, new petrol tank, modern oil filter inside original canister. Lightened flywheel makes gear change easier. Diodes in petrol pump and voltage regulator for reliable driving.Original wings and bonnet with stamped number 0635 but new aluminium body to original shape on ask frame. Bucket seats and original steering wheel. Colour as original: Green/green with silver wheels. Black tonneau + full weather equipment + stainless steel luggage rack + 2 Brooklands screens. Car can be seen and demonstrated in South Sweden (100km from Malmo). Lots of spares included – list can be provided.
