| MG PB Chassis PB 0474 2 seater, registered BU 9474 on June 6 1936: complete project. Shipped to America Oct 1960.
Acquired in 2007 as a restoration project, much work done, more to do. MG is assembled for storage/transportation purposes (pics). New ash frame assembled, brand new wings & running boards, original bonnet, front apron, good used rear fenders. Excellent overhauled rolling and braking chassis, re-chromed windscreen assembled (pic), fuel tank repaired/sealed, freshly chromed (pic) radiator shell(to be fitted). Original PB engine (710 A 199PB) complete with all accessories, was re-bored +060”, original crank. Engine ran when purchased. Overhaul may be required.
PB 199 gear box (782 199) overhaul may be required. PB 199 rear axle (2246 199) overhauled with new crown wheel & pinion complete. New wiring loom to fit, fuse box/regulator, side lamps, original headlamps (freshly chromed, see pic). Bench seating as original. All books, specially made wrenches, sockets, open end wrenches, babbitting fixtures included. New & original dashboard, PB instrument cluster, tachometer, speedometer, clock (pics). 2 spare brake drums & other items.
