| This J2 (J2270) has been a lifetime’s work by our late friend, a professional engineer with his own business, and is now for sale on behalf of his widow. The car has been restored to J3 specification, with a Godfrey Marshall J100 blower and 12” brakes. The standard of detailed workmanship is truly outstanding. Everything has been lovingly restored and/or renewed and there is a large file of receipts, drawings and other information referencing the engine rebuild with new crank, rods, pistons, gearbox rebuild etc. No car could have left the factory in such pristine order, and some very minor assembly work is now required to complete it. The floor, seats and instruments have been loosely fitted for the photographs, these will need to be fitted properly by the purchaser. We believe everything required to compete the car is here but cannot be 100% certain. There are several boxes containing carburettor parts, blower pipes, a new wiring loom, refurbished side lamps etc. The hood frame has not been refurbished.
