NA0613 was supplied by Cockfosters Manchester and delivered on 01-01-1935 to its first owner in Rochdale (family correspondence) who emigrated to Beverly Hills California later that year. It was sold/leased through Pacific Autos Ca. appearing in Hollywood Movies (Alfred Hitchcock “Suspicion” and “Bulldog Drummond in Africa”). It was dismantled in 1958 where 40 years later and as a unique survivor, it was acquired and restored by a collector and MG expert who described it as remarkable find in having “no corrosion or rot”. It has resided all but 5 months of its 90 year history in California with an unbroken documented history. The extensive ten year restoration was completed 1998-2008 keeping its well preserved original 4 seater body and frame (original cracked block 866 AN replaced with 579 AN). Left factory with body and upholstery in red, aluminum colour wheels and optional Malcolm Campbell steering wheel (currently with the car). This past year had a clutch rebuild, SU carbs rebuild, fuel pump reconditioned and new Blockley tyres.
