| Chassis number 2022. Completely rebuilt from ground up by Michael Ellis. The engine has a Phoenix crank and has been completely rebuilt with every part reconditioned or replaced. The same goes for the gearbox, back axle and every component currently on the car. The body tub is brand-new along with tank and all wiring and plumbing. The leather interior can be seen in the photos with correct dashboard and Jaeger instruments. Everything is there to complete the build and what has been done has been completed to an excellent standard. I have several spares included with the car. The body needs panelling, windscreen fitting, paint and interiors doors completing along with a hood. The car has been stored in a centrally heated garage and turns over freely. The car is very early and has been well documented in an MG book on J2’s. One owner, a Commander Crab and I, have a photo of the car in the 1950’s. I have photographs of the whole restoration.
