| Reluctantly, Vintage MG Parts is needing to create some extra space and a car will need to find a new worthy home. I rescued this PA 3 years ago from a garage in Cardiff.
A 1935 MG PA 4 seat tourer (PA1565). Utter time warp, dry stored since 1960, absolutely 99.9999%+ complete apart from the carbs which disappeared 50 plus years ago. Now correct P front apron included. The body is becoming delicate and Road springs settled. The car can be restored with replacement timbers to its original spec, or built up as PA 2 seater spec (Vintage MG Parts has new ash frames in stock). Alternatively, it would make a superb basis for an MG Q type recreation which was what I originally had in mind to build myself but other projects beckon my time. It deserves proper enthusiastic attention from someone who can appreciate it for what it represents. The chassis etc is in superb order, quite incredible. Engine seized through long time being stood, valve gear under the rocker cover looks like the engine was running just last week! Full instrumentation etc and all the small detailing. This car having survived so long deserves to survive from here-on and certainly NOT be broken up for spares. A great opportunity, even more so for the younger enthusiast to get stuck into hence the price.
Sensibly priced for quick sale. The car is based near Howden, just off the M62 in East Yorkshire. This is a private sale, i.e. not through Vintage MG Parts. Price 7,500 GBP ono Email enquiries@vintagemgparts.com |
