MG J2 1933 Chassis No. J4275 initially shipped to Malta and was finally returned to UK in 1948. Since then it has been comprehensively modified. New body frame and all new aluminium body. PA engine fitted in 1983 with Marshall supercharger. Four branch manifold with larger diameter exhaust. 12 inch cable brakes. Extensive competition until 2011. We have owned the car since 2011 and have used it in several European and UK touring events. There are now two engine options. Naturally aspirated with twin SU carburettors for a smoother and quieter drive or belt driven new Marshall supercharger for more performance and rather more noise. The complete package of the supercharger and all necessary parts are in a separate crate which is all included with the car. Major engine and transmission repairs in our ownership.
