| Chassis PA1891. The previous owner and restorer started work on the car in 1976 along with several other MMM cars. This continued until about 2008 when ill health prevented further progress. I purchased the car in the condition it had reached at that point. The listing is still available to see in the 'sold' section (ad no. 425) below and gives an accurate description of the car as purchased. The engine, gearbox and bonnet panels are all original items. The car was largely disassembled to check that all was well and then rebuilt with the painted panels fitted. The car drives well, goes where it's pointed and has excellent brakes. There are new hood and side screen frames but no other weather equipment. The windscreen motor is new but the wiper system needs some items to complete. The trafficators need repairing (or replacing) and re-fitting. Otherwise. the car is complete. I am selling at a price reflecting only my purchase costs and the work done. The proceeds of sale will help with getting a couple of other projects off the ground and free up some much needed workshop space. I am keen to see the car go to a private buyer and not to someone hoping to make a profit from re-selling it.
