Nice picture indeed, the car looks very original apart from those rear wheels and petrol cap.
The car is listed in the Register with Register number 2275 and is shown as ex. Hon.G Butler. The Hawke History of MMM Competition cars states the car was bought from P J Evans & Co Ltd, Birmingham, on 26th August 1931 and that Butler sold the car on 5th August 1933 to Don Johnson, Rhos-on-Sea who competed in one Donington Park 25 mile handicap race on 14th July 1934. The car was sold at Auction in Southampton and in 1957 is shown as being with a dealer Leonard Potter of New York. There have been just two owners in the US.
The Registration number was transferred to a Rolls Royce in the UK.
