I have been talking today to the ex owner of an M type. He owned it from 1964 to 76 (ish). He recalls the registration as TF but can't remember the numbers. He sold it to Peter Gregory.
Does this ring a bell with anyone? He'd be really keen to see a current photo or two and has at least one from his ownership.

Thanks Sam. I'll get back on to him and see if anything sounds familiar. Any other candidates gratefully received!

Kevin can you read the number or rather letters in the registration of the Mk 1 18/80 beside the sportsman's coupe? Is it a known car? The nearest I can see is 6707 with PL 8287 which was a 1931 tourer info from O to A.

Thanks Colin. I'll pass these on too.

John. Looks like we've both been through the same exercise, I wondered that too.
The first letter looks too angular for a P so maybe WL8286 perhaps?

(Next to Toulmin's coupe XL might have been more appropriate given the size difference!)

TF 1017 2M1150 was Blue originally.
TF 3009 the coupe belonged to Maurice Toulmin, the 'Cracker' driver and is chassis CM1982, as did the large saloon with it I think is WL 8286, which I cannot find in Oxford to Abingdon.
TF is of course Lancashire, and the records are at Lancashire Archives, Bow Lane, Preston.
