The parts from my windscreen have been stripped of the chrome. I'm doing some repair filling and buffing before sending them to the platter. There is a single tapped hole on the bottom lower inside rail just in front of the rearview mirror. Was there a nameplate on the J2 at this location?
Thanks Gary

Gary- Indeed, there is a small circular nameplate that attaches to the windshield frame at the point you are describing.

This is the location of the windscreen maker badge : Perfecta. I obtained a copy from Sports & Vintage. What I don't know is whether it was plain brass or chromed.

Thank you for the information. I assume it is held on with a single chromed screw.

Gary, I believe a central domed head rivet held the brass Perfecta badge in place on the outside of the screen rail and the original one I have seen was brass but cannot be sure if it was originally plated or not after years of polishing. The T Types badge was on the inside.
