Hello all:
Does anyone have a spare combo speedometer / tachometer as originally fitted to the MG J2, (on the dash, behind the steering wheel). I own a J2 where a previous owner has replaced the aforementioned instrument with a Tachometer, (please see picture attached). I would be happy to do a swap / part exchange, or outright purchase.
Kind Regards,
James

Hi James,
Check the traders forum area of this website. Greg Clarke has a J2 speedometer advertised that he is selling at Beaulieu.
Good luck, Ian |

Does anyone know how best to get hold of Greg Clarke. I have been trying to do so for several days to no avail.
Thanks,

I’m sure I have one of these gauges. If you don’t succeed with Greg , contact me. Rod.

On a related subject, I have 2 processionally rebuilt late J2 chronometric speedos, one is surplus as the other will go on the L type. However, I am looking for an F2 style speedo. Does anyone have one or even a face I could borrow to have the graphics reproduced
Any offers, please email me direct at; enquiries@vintageMGparts.com

Hi Rod:
I have not been able to contact Greg Clarke. If you have an early J2 speedo / tacho I would certainly be interested.
Thank you,
James |

James, as George mentioned you need to type claudia_louise.... The underscore is concealed by the hyperlink underlining and many people have had this problem.

Hi Dave:
I believe I used the correct email address with the underscore. I think his business address in the U.K. is The Hermitage, 1, Pump Yard, etc etc and I have tried his phone number but cannot get an answer.
At this point I'm assuming he must have sold the speedo. Shame really, I'm more than ready to buy one.
Thank you for the tip.
If anyone out there has a speedo / tacho for sale let me know.
Kind Regards,
James

Hi All:
For those of you who saw my posts about not being able to get hold of Greg Clarke - please disregard.
Greg just sent me a pleasant email, apparently my email message went to spam.
Sounds like a classic case of Murphy's law. Hopefully I can work out a deal for a core he has that needs rebuilding.
Thank you all!
Kind Regards,
James
