Brian, if that is yours in the photo why don't you just tidy up the end and use it?

I have been to 3 aluminium welders (one being an aviation welder) they have all reported back saying it will not weld because of the impurities within the aluminium. I am thinking of getting one or some cast up, I will machine up new pegs and bore out the holes with a CNC milling machine. Kind Regards Brian

A few years ago I brought one from someone who had had some cast, can't remember who, was one of our friends in Northern Ireland?

From this picture it was only two years ago

John, I was able to assist you with the brake bracket casting but I must credit a gentleman in England who actually produced it.

Does it really need to be aluminium ?.

Much easier to fabricate one in mild steel I would think. Paint it black & who would know ?.

Just sayin...

We are here for a good time, not a long time !.

Might be one of mine. I'll check tomorrow if I have one left.

I've checked with the foundry and fortunately they still have the mould - it's been quite a few years since it was made - so I've ordered a few more. Might even be cast today.
