Image in the Triple-M Register Yearbook 1977 on page 48 (last page) there is a picture with dark red MG Magna F four seater with family. Can someone tell me something about the family (1 woman, 1 man and 2 children)? Who sits in MG Magna and where did the picture come from?
I have the story of the vehicle 1932-1933. After that, the track loses, except for the illustration in the Triple-M Register Yearbook 1977 on the last page.

Don't have a copy of Year book 1977.
But , another reference source is Ian Rosss's F type Register.
Has much information on all things F Type related.

and any other details you have .
British Registration always helps.
Try emailing Ian Ross direct.
He is very knowledgeable.
The other person is the sub-register for F types.

Hello Robert,
In the early 1960s the car was owned by Halvor Westgaard who at that time lived in Trondheim Norway. I remember meeting him about this time and helping him with dynamo problems whilst he and his girlfriend were on holiday driving the F Type around the UK. They both stayed with us in South London where I lived and we kept in touch for some years after this.
The picture must have been taken some time later as he appears to have acquired two small children, I can't be sure who the woman is/was but if he married the girl we met back in those days I recall her name was Marit. The 2016 MMM register lists F1164 under his name so, like me, he is/was a longtime F Type owner.
John is right Ian Ross could be a good person to contact regarding your F Types history.

I think your cars original UK registration number was JD2578.

The car is indeed recorded as F1164, Registration JD 2578.
The record shows it was owned by Halvor Westgaard, Oslo, from 1967 to 2016. I guess that must be him and family in the photo?

I'm looking for all information and pictures for the car. There is a lack of data from the early years up to the 60s. But also about any information after this time, I am grateful.

Hello Mike, thank you for your helpful answer. The name of the owner Halvor Westgaard, I have already received on a request from Georg Eagle in August 2016. Unfortunately, I could not make contact.
Today I know why. Halvor Westgaard is dead. There is an obituary in the MG CAR CLUB NORWAY NO.5 DEC newspaper. 2010_page two. I am sending the link from the sad news.

Halvor Westgaard with wife took the Type F twice to England, in the summer -68 and in the winter -70 / -71 where they also lived for a while. Address in England: Marit and Halvor Westgaard, 33 Elmwood Rd., London W.4.
Registered with the Norwegian license plate U-36363 from 19 June 1968.

or delivery date 27.05.1932
Sale / Registration 18.07.1932
Halvor Westgaard was born in 1945 in Trondheim / Norway and was in Type F from March 1967 until his death. Died in the second year 2010 (between summer and November 2010).
