I'm having difficulty getting insurance for the J2 which stays in France. I don't want to change the plates and insure it there. Anyone solved this problem and can suggest an insurer. Hagerty blame Brexit!

Try Peter S. Taylor. details in the VSCC mag or on their website. I have insured my MMM's with them for 50 years. Can't speak highly enough of their services.

Will second Peter S Taylor. Personal service, and seem to be the only ones who have less restrictive covenants. They were the only people to insure me when I didn’t have a ‘modern’ car!

I think you will find that if the vehicle stays in France it should have French plates and therefore French Insurance
