Tom, is that a fabric lift tab at the opening side? Was that to be found on your original?

I remember mine as being leather on the P type . Whether that was original l cannot say but it was aged.

Ian,

Yes, but actually a leather tab. There's a small recess in the side of the door - I can get that dimension, and the leather was tacked into this recess in the side - 2 tacks. Not folded down under the bottom.

My leather was broken/torn/worn so I don't know what the complete pattern looks like. I do have 3 or 4 original leather tabs for the rear battery lid which was simply fastened with a #8 oval head screw with finishing washer.

Dimensions for leather tabs for both the floor board door and battery lid. How many tabs for the lid and where are they positioned?
