| Preferably two, 1/4" spindles and butterfly discs for 1+1/8" SU. Early Sprite/803cc Morris Minor.Any ideas welcome. |

I know Andy Turner refurnishes carbs if the usual avenues aren't fruitful.

I had success with SUCARB.UK.CO now part of Burlen when I needed a spindle and butterfly valve for the 1 1/8 SU on my MG about a year ago. I think it is still a continuation of the original SU manufacturer. You have to dig around the website to find your specifics.

Ian, I am sure that BURLEN can help you and in the first instance you could ring them (Corvid permitting) on 01722412500.
I have just checked the Corvid effect and they are only responding to e-mail info@burlen.co.uk

Thanks all, I've been on their website and sent an email. I'm hoping they will just sell me the bits I need rather than a whole rebuild kit (£66 per carb). At least they now supply the 1/4" spindle - it was unavailable for years. Although if someone has the parts going spare I'm still very interested.

I believe I have the parts, brand new.
I got them for a project so would need to replace them so if time is your issue I can help at the Burlen price.
If time is not an issue Burlen can supply with less postage costs

P.S. If anybody is considering an order to Burlen; I have just received the following response within a message from them:
"From Tuesday 24th March our business will operate with a reduced workforce, consisting of those who can operate remotely.
Your recent web order has been processed and we will complete and despatch as soon as current restrictions lift. If you have any queries regarding your recent order or wish us to cancel this due to the current restrictions please do not hesitate to contact me."
In other words, you won't get anything from them quickly. No apparent warning of this was made before I had paid and the order was processed.
