These are Norwegian plates - both cars are recorded on the Triple-M Register and although we have contact details of the owner of F1460 the same cannot ber said for the owner of PB0261.

Perhaps some of our Norwegian friends can shed light here?

Hi
When cars were disused, scapped, exported or similar, perhaps the registration number was reused on another vehicle.

Kind regards to everyone and keep safe

I can add a supplement for the F1460.

The member is listed in the club newspaper Organ for Norsk MG Register Humbug No. 14 from September 1974 and is very welcome. (see below in the text)

"After all, it is the F2 mentioned earlier
Take part and we warmly welcome you
also Sverre Nyquist as owner of F2,
ch.nr. F 1460 from 1933. "

The member is listed in the club newspaper Organ for Norsk MG Register Humbug No. 15 of December 1974 with the membership number 34.

Hi Sven, maybe you can still check.
Vehicle information gives the F1460 the positive result. Now with registration A83834. In the Triple M register there are two pictures with old license plates A-83834 and A-7537.

Hi, maybe you don't see the old license plates A-83834. Send detail here too.
Could a mistake happen as early as 1956?
The F1460 in the picture 1937/1938 and in the picture from 1956 is the same?

Could it be Norwegian registration numbers are (or were at least) personal?

3x triple-M

PB0261 with A-7537 at the exhibition in Norway.
Was a posting on Facebook.
The others:
M2242 with license plate number C-5253
and
PA1984 with A-239.
