I know the boss plate on the left was seen on MG J2's and other Triple-M cars but can anyone tell me which MG the boss plate on the right comes from?

The MG logo on the right stands out from the surface rather than being pressed into it and the holes are further from the edge so the discs are not interchangeable.

Engraved is Brooklands; embossed is Ashby.

Thanks John, that was quick.

Looking at the picture of your restored Ashby steering wheel on the previous thread I see the difference. https://www.triple-mregister.org/forums//topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=17666

Of course I also see why it will not fit my Bluemel's steering wheel.

There’s a splendid article on the history of the Brooklands steering wheel in this Morgan Club magazine (starting at page 24 if you don’t want to look at all the Morgans) - https://s3.amazonaws.com/ClubExpressClubFiles/570267/documents/2019-04julyaug19_morganeer_final_73937494.pdf?AWSAccessKeyId=AKIA6MYUE6DNNNCCDT4J&Expires=1606688547&response-content-disposition=inline%3B%20filename%3D2019-04julyaug19_morganeer_final.pdf&Signature=L4gCVyhWXYFYwDBEfnDL4dfmPN0%3D
