We don't know much about this car. It doesn't have a register number although we have the name of a recorded owner who registered the car with the Triple-M Register in 2017. Oddly the reg was given as MG 3851, rather that the reg in the auction details...

Our factory records for PA1660 show that the car was initially held by University Motors as a 'stock car' (no not that sort of stockcar!), but there is nothing more known.

We cannot positively confirm the auctioneer's stated id for this car, but may learn more on Monday....

If on the other hand the car is NXS 279 it is listed at DVLA with an approximately correct date for PA1660 although it's listed there as a blue car .

(If it's MG 3851 that reg is unknown by the Register or the DVLA.)

NXS xxx is what the DVLA is currently issuing for 'age-related' registration marks for both Triple-Ms and T-Types.

I’ve spoken to the auctioneer as there is no estimate on the car. He informs me the vendor has set the reserve at £12,000. Obviously it needs quite a lot of work and the engine is incorrect but has to find a MMM that’s fairly up together for that money. Good luck if anyone decides to buy it.
