Hi ,
I’m upgrading / converting my J2 to a J3 spec with the help of a Marshall blower , an EN.V gear box ( ex an F type ? ) and a few other enhancements .The drive shaft tunnel in the J is rather skinny , and the drive shaft is also rather thin ( mine is a hybrid of a J shaft with non J ends ‘ made ‘ in the mid 1980’s )
I was wondering what other people have done in terms of a drive shaft on a J that has a bit more “ grunt “ ( eventually anyway #128512; ) than standard J , eg what have they used & how did the get around the narrow tunnel width issue .
I want it to be safe , & driveable
The J’s are not the most spacious of machines !! ., between the bucket seats & drive shaft tunnel there isn’t a lot of room
Thanks
Regards
Geoff
