Steven, That wheel looks the same as the one used on the M type but this one has the sprung steel exposed (rather than fully covered as on the M type) and has the slots machined in it. If I am right I may have an M type wheel that could be spare but it is in a poor state. This may not be a problem if you are going to have to refurbish and modify it. Is your boss tapered and keyed? Also what diameter is your wheel? Keith

I believe it was Willie McKenzie (http://austinrepro.com) who had these on eBay recently strangely described as "Vintage MG M-TYPE STEERING WHEEL". The customer could choose either for the same price.

When I refinished my M-type wheel, it had solid spokes, not the slots in the Campbell wheel.

This is the standard M-type steering wheel.
Campbell clearly opted for solid spokes but at 272 m.p.h. I suppose you would.
