In case it’s of wider interest, these pictures show the location of Gardner's crash on Glen Hill, just before the junction with Ballyrogan Road. As an aside, I used to use the Ballyrogan Road on my way to work, turning left onto Glen Hill without realising the M.G. history of that particular section of road.
