I am attempting to fill in the ownership history of NA0651. I know the original owner (p.S.P. Morter from Liverpool). However, there is nothing known after 1936 up until about 1975. Is there anyone that can research the name T. Coe living at Saxtead, Woodbridge, Suffolk? Any leads would be appreciated.

Lew, I'm interested in this photo which seems to suggest a previous colour of ivory or similar:
Tim (L) I see this is the car you've recently bought and I wonder if you could confirm my guess of ivory?
In the late '60s I knew a 2 seater NA in the Stansted area which was ivory and wonder if this could be the car.

Dave, I have no idea. I know Tim was interested in NA0651, but since I have yet to collect the car, I only know the primary color to be black.

Ah! I'm obviously jumping to conclusions. I know Tim has bought an NA but must confess I think he was talking about building a special so probably not one with a seemingly good body. I noted that he had added a photo to the file and thought......!

Lew and Forum:
Have you contacted the Suffolk County Record Office.? link below. Start with online search They will hold all types of records. Births, deaths, census, telephone directory's, company names and records, maps and on and on. A matter of pot-luck. Some of this will be on line. Varys greatly by county office. Never found two county's the same. They can and will conduct one off searches for a fee. https://www.suffolkarchives.co.uk/ All the best.

Dave good evening. I did look at NA0651 though Lew did well and got there first. Subsequently found and bought an NB though chassis NA0884 such is the way the N type chassis’s were numbered. I’ll write to you offline. Tim

Dave, I just found that exact photo along with others. What you see as "ivory" is actually a piece of plywood.

Oh well Lew, not to worry. I always wonder what happened to that car and actually asked on the Forum some years ago if the little bit of its history that I knew rang any bells. As you will guess, they didn't.
Cheers,

kevin, Somehow I missed seeing you post. I will get on it later today. However, I did track down an Elizabeth Coe, associated with Red House Farm. She is no longer at that address, but I have written to her to see what she knows. Meanwhile this look to be an excellent lead.
Cheers, Lew

Kevin, I am starting to get matches between the owners of Windmill Lodges and the previous owner of NA0651. I believe the T. Coe is actually Trevor Coe, the uncle of the Lodges owner. I have written to the grandmother Roberta Elizabeth Coe and the nieces and nephews. That was an excellent lead. Many thanks.
