Guys

Having searched the Forum I find that various people have been hoping to produce replicas of the Reverse Stop Lever or some call it a Detent Lever. Has anybody managed to do this?

I am looking for a replacement Stop or a drawing I could use to get one made.

Any thoughts?

As ever, thanks in advance.

Regards

Tim

I seem to remember a post from Barry Walker, perhaps last year, indicating that he had produced some. Try asking him.

Yes, BW sold me a new one cast in brass last year. Now, I am looking for a P-type turret/tower, to convert a J2-type gearshift gate to have a reverse-lockout. If anyone has one to sell me or knows where to buy one, please contact me. I monitor this form daily.

I also got one from BW quite recently. It is a very nice repro.

Guys

Thank you. Nice brass one obtained from BW. Now will do some subtle changes to give me a cleaner change from 3rd to 2nd.

Hi Tim, Whilst you need a pattern and or a turret it is possible to make one yourself and get it plated with a larger batch of bit. A bit time consuming but very satisfying.
