Triple-M friends of Sandra Hudson will be saddened to learn of her death which occurred on Friday the 24th of September following a short illness.
Sandra will be remembered by many as the widow of the very popular Bob Hudson, who in addition to being a committed MG enthusiast also made a great contribution to the Register as our Scribe to the Club’s Safety Fast magazine for several years.
Following Bob’s sudden demise in 2008 Sandra maintained a number of friendships within our fraternity all of which really meant a lot to her. She looked forward to the natters & the summer gathering in particular.
Sandra’s daughter Liz Beckford advises that her mother’s funeral will take place place on Friday 15th October, 11.30am at Reading Crematorium. Those attending are invited to join the family afterwards at The Crowne Plaza Hotel, Caversham for a light lunch.
People are welcome to attend in person but there will be a live web link available for those who cannot or would prefer not to do so. Details of the web link and all other relevant information will be available shortly.
Liz mentions that it would be very helpful to know beforehand if people are planning to attend in person on the day by kindly contacting her at the following email address:

What very sad news. Since losing Bob, Sandra has been a regular member of The Leather Bottle meeting at Mattingley Green and she will be sorely missed. Rest in Peace, dear friend.

I was hoping to show Sandra Bobs PB project which is now rebuilt and had a great run to the Summer Gathering and back. As with the C type, dark blue with light blue wheels. RIP Sandra. Nick.

Update:
Sandra's daughter Liz has asked me to pass on thanks for all the messages she has received.
For those planning to travel to the funeral she points out that there is no requirement to wear black. In fact a bit of colour would be welcomed.
Also there are a lot of road works around Reading at the moment, so she suggests that people should allow a little extra time for their journey.
