Does anyone know if there was a specific designer at Abingdon who came up with the initial designs for the different models? The J2 was such a superb design that I assume someone made the initial design drawings for approval by Kimber? I would like to include a tribute in the Bulletin if there is any information out there.

Wasn't H.N. Charles chief designer at the time the J type cars were developed?

Did I not read somewhere that Cecil Kimbers wife was involved in the non technical side of the design and that Harold Connoly was also heavily involved ?
