Hi ,
I’m after an extended screw gear to drive a water pump in a J3 / J4 front main bearing housing . The screw gear I originally brought with the out of true housing from an Supplier off shore is 40 thou out from the shaft centre line & bends the oil pump shaft ( the housing is now machined true by - MGCarCo NZ ) .
Does anyone know where I can get one from - picture attached of problem extended screw gear FYI .
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi Geoff,
S & V ..... now do these..... they do all the small cam engine gears of this type to the extended tooth form as they will work on all these engines... water pump or not.

Looking at the small detail profile and finish, it should be noted that the gear shown is not a Vintage MG Parts produced component.
