Does anyone have a decent K3 radiator shell or radiator lying around?

Or perhaps someone has one that I could borrow in order to get a copy made?

Any ideas would be helpful!

Thanks,

Hello, Colin.
Not that it really helps but the K3 radiator shell was made from a cut down 18/80 shell. ( At least that was what Colvin Gunn told me !
Best of luck.

Even if you find one please don't cut an 18/80 one down :-)

Don't worry - I won't chop up an 18/80 one! but could perhaps borrow one to copy the top half if no-one will lend me a K3 one.

Kevin, I wouldn’t for one moment suggest cutting an 18/80 radiator shell today, though as Colin said one could be used to make patterns. I should have made it clear that that was what the factory did in period.

Glad to hear it- I can sleep easy.

I am though led to believe the late Peter Gregory wasn't quite so disciplined which is one reason 18/80 ones are even thinner on the ground than they might have been.

Have you tried Steve Baker? I saw he had a very nice new one at Beaulieu.
