Can someone tell me please, the thickness of the "L" shaped brackets that bolt to the N/S chassis rail & carry the "P" clips for the exhaust?

Ah, thanks Peter. Mine only had wire hence my total lack of knowledge. I'll get some 1/4 inch bar which I guess I'll have to take to the smithy!
