Does anyone have any fawn Wigan hood material available. A friend of mine is restoring a TC is having real problems sourcing some. Just wondered if anyone had any left over. Enough to make 1 hood will be perfect. Thanks Bob.

Hello, Mike and James from Wm. M. Collingburn & Son - Traditional MG Car Trimming & Supplies here. We have black instock but no Fawn/Beige wigan and we don't know anybody else who has any. We are currently moving premises but once we are settled in we will look at having it made for us. What makes it so special is that is has a layer of waterproof vulcanised rubber sandwiched between to layers of cloth. It is in demand for the pre-war/MMM cars and T-Types. There is no point contacting us asking when we will have it, we're talking months and it will be at least £50 a metre. We will advertise in the revelant places when we have it, along with carpet sets made to order, Toolrolls for Pre-war cars and T-Types made from original samples and materials for weather equipment, most of which we have, except the elusive (rather likes us sometimes) Fawn Wigan. Once we are sorted in our new digs we will look at all these things and start to integrate ourselves back into the MG scene a bit more. We won't be at Stoneleigh this year but are doing a presentation the T-Register rebuild event on Sat 23rd March and also intend to have a presence at Silverstone and Beaulieu if we can.
