at the risk of further diverting the topic, which fuel tank went with which J2? Did the cycle winged cars have a different tank to the swept wing cars? |

J3017 has a curved back gas tank, believed original, cycle wings, build date March 14, 1933. Bob, Canada |

I think it is generally accepted that only the early J2's had the straight backed fuel tanks -probably only those produced in 1932.

Can't commit to the aluminium boxes at the moment, I will probably leave the car packed for easy storage until I embark on the restoration proper, I have currentl two projects underway and I intend to get to a ' comfortable ' point with these before unpacking. I will keep you in mind if the situation changes.
