And yet another J2 available here in Somerset: J2013 at Thornfalcon Car Sales near Taunton. Photos on their website. Looks OK apart from a few anomalies (for the purists?) Simon C.

Registration OJ; Birmingham.

Supplied by PJ Evans of John Bright Street?

Wrong carbs, wrong ignition switch, wrong oil pressure gauge, wrong fuel pump, but otherwise a reasonable looking car.

Mind you - it had the "wrong" carbs in 1933 (semi-down draught fitted in lieu of originals)

Jeremy,

To quote your dad, 75 years of J2. (Page 30)
"J2013. The first car (MG) to be fitted with Semi-DD SU carbs."

As stated in an earlier posting OJ is Birmingham Reg. Used as a demonstrator and sold from a dealer in Ardwick. (Manchester, I presume.)

Your dad did great work and all with a smile!

Brian Kelly.
