Can't remember how to tell them apart.
I chanced on this pic via a Facebook posting (friend of a friend) from the grandaughter of the MG owner who is sadly deceased.
She may have other pics showing full registration no.
She'd be interested to know year and model and if car has survived. Basically, grateful for any info at all regarding grandad's MG.

Either a D or an F as it seems to be an Adament type steering wheel. The radiator shell looks slightly wider at the bottom so I'm leaning to F type. Looking at the numbers you can see on the plate it ties in with F1181 . |

Dear Forum:
If F 1181 ; which gets my vote. Then lots of photos on Ian Ross's Mg F Registry site. Car now red. Common color change . All the best. Happy new year.

Looking at the gear lever and the reverse gear stop, I would say the gearbox is ENV, making the car an F.

Definitely F1 ,the gear lever gives it away. It has also got the triangular mud deflectors fitted to the front wings. My F had these fitted when I bought it in 1970. But was told they weren't original, so removed them, should have kept them.

F1..
I had the triangular mud deflectors as well on my F1, but removed them as I thought they were "aftermarket", luckily I kept them and the new owner has them to re-fit at some point in time!

Could this be the same individual who appears in these M-type pictures? In this photo, in the passenger seat....
 ...and here
He possibly answered to 'Bud'. I am not quite sure why it comes to mind but I wonder if he was a used car salesman.

Since RX 6795 was the Beggar's Roost M-type perhaps some factory or motor trade connection is possible.

That's a young George Propert in the photos with RX6795.

Tom, my apologies, I found these pictures in my 'M-type' file and I have just remembered they are yours. I hope you do not mind me sharing them here again.
I gather George Propert was the MG shop foreman. What became of him?
