Hi All,
I don't know if it's just me, but yesterday and today when I try and reply by creating a new post on an exiting thread, after several minutes the forum falls over and comes up with an error message. But, going back into the forum, the new postbox there? It's not my internet connection etc, as other forums I'm not having this problem with, it's instant!
Any ideas? Many thanks in advance

The error message being, as it happened again when I tried to create this thread "500 - Internal server error. There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed" :( :(

Not quite Colin's problem, but I've noticed recently that on a number of occasions and with different people posting, the identical post appears a second time, minutes later. George's reply to Cat's wonderful photos is a case in point.

And now, with the above post, I've had Colin's problem, although having exited and then re-entered the Forum, I find my post is there.

Puzzled!

My apologies to anyone having this problem, if you have not already experienced this please post here and let me know.
Dave, Colin what browser you you use. I have tried Firefox, Chrome & Edge with the same results.
The multiple posts issue has been reported to me but I have not seen it for myself.
You are all experiencing the same problem I have ever since the move to the new server and I thought it was only me (and Rich Stott).
Hence all the "Test" posts you might have seen.
I am in daily communication with the server folks to try and resolve this strange behaviour.

Well my response above posted without the dreaded 500 message. We shall see!
Spoke too soon. Rats!

Hi Nick
It's on my IPad so I guess Safari?
Don't worry this will soon be sorted no doubt :)
Thanks
Colin

Hi Nick, Firefox and, if you go to Cat's post "Brightening up your Sunday" on the General Forum, you'll find, as it appeared, an example from George Eagle although in this case he has now explained how it happened.

Cheers and keep well,

Dave

Nick, a new example, on the face of it, of the "double posting". Last item posted by James Earl on page 1 of the current accelerator linkage thread on the technical forum, and first item on page 2.

Stay safe,

Dave

Thank you Dave, I have deleted the duplicate message. I am hoping this occurs as a result of using a phone to send the message or pressing the submit reply button twice whilst the message is churning awaiting the system to consume whatever it is finding indigestible right now. Once we have resolved that issue the duplicate posting issue may go away as well. Fingers crossed.

It would seem to me as if everything is working correctly. Fingers and toes crossed.
