I am now in the middle of making another long overdue batch of front axle torsion brackets. These are for cycle wing models which are using the F2/J2 front lower wing stays.

I last manufactured these around 10 years ago and this time around, the detailing is a little different. Also, all the parts are being nickel plated. The torsion brackets are being reprofiled for that true 1930s look, and will this time also have wire rope as opposed to straight wire twist.

I announced these 24 hours ago on the Vintage MG Parts Facebook where all our latest parts announcements now appear first (Facebook search ; Vintage MG Parts). 10 of the 15 sets have already been provisionally reserved, subject to customers knowing the price which is still to be set.

If anyone wants to see photos etc then please visit the Facebook page

If anyone wishes to provisionally reserve a set then please email me direct at enquiries@vintagemgparts.com

on other parts matters, all P type engine sumps now sold. I will run another batch of 10 when a couple more orders are registered. This will take us to 50 sumps with these patterns. I find it quite staggering where all these parts may be going. Two J type sumps in stock only from this batch for anyone contemplating. 3 J water rail manifolds remaining also

Having made 11 sets of bronze J type intermediate rocker shaft support castings three weeks ago and a all pre-sold, three more orders have come in. I will therefore be running another short batch if this helps anyone still needing sets. One set is for an M type, so I can modify the machining to accommodate any M orders

Regards

Rich
