Does anyone have a distributor advance weight to spare. Need one to pair with this one i.e. with the spring mounting pin at the opposite end to this one. Centre of spring mounting pin to centre of locating pin is 25 mm Thanks
I think the one on the right may be what you are after.
The other two seem to be a pair and have been drilled and tapped presumably to lock the auto advance at some stage.

The fittings tend to work loose in the lead. There is therefore slight movemement in some cases but a bit of careful peening should remedy that. Or, just use as is. In another 88 years time they might be slightly looser
Terry, Surely you need one the same as the one you have to make a pair? One with the mounting pin at the opposite end wouldn’t work. The pair on the left in Andrew's picture (which have the mounting pin at the opposite end ) would be for the opposite rotation.
Yes you are quite right it is the one on the far right that I need. Just rebuilding this for a friend. I offered him a rebuilt one but he wanted his original one rebuilt. It is not in bad condition but one of the weights had been poorly fabricated in ali for some reason. Problem solved thanks Andrew - will mail you. Terry
