Hi all, Nick kindly approved my membership to share these two photos of my grandfather with his J2.
I ran the number plate on the DVLA system and saw that its last logbook was issued in 2017 and I thought the current owner would be interested to see them.
I would also of course like to know if the car is ever taken to an event where I can come and see it (when events are allowed to happen again!)

J2915, Register number 3466 (which is quite recent) and apparently last heard of in March 2019 with change of ownership to J.A. Bosma. All according to the printed i edition of the Register listing.

Thanks Simon, I really appreciate you looking it up.
I see a couple of photos in the online register. Can't find anyone called Bosma on the forum unfortunately, but perhaps more info will turn up.

Lovely photos , can you date them ? I presume the units on either side of the spot lights are horns but what are the ‘tubes/trumpets’ fitted for ? Also ,do you know anything about the badge with a large B on ?
Just curious. Thanks , Ray

My mother thinks 1947 or thereabouts. For the rest I’m sure others here are better placed to answer!
I hadn’t noticed the B - looks like a Bentley badge almost. Could it be a car club badge?

Thanks Simon,
I have added the photos to the Register, this is J2915, but unfortunately we have no owner contact details.

John,
The printed Register shows a change of ownership last year to J.A. Bosma so surely there must be some record of this somewhere? I see from the photos in the online Register that it passed through Andy King's hands so perhaps he can throw some light on it?

What lovely photos - I am always surprised how many owners in period sat on the closed door despite the fragile hinges!

Thanks all. I'll send Andy King a message through his website and see if he has any leads.

Is the 'B' badge similar to this one on F1225?? We could never work out what it was for!!

The surname Bosma appears to relate to Netherlands, may be someone over there knows.

Andy King is in touch with the current owner and forwarded my email on - so hopefully I’ll have some news soon!
