J3753 was delivered to the Colmore Depot, Liverpool, on 28 November 1932 and registered LV 1609. Early owners are thought to include A.A.Sharples, R.D.Russell and G.Ashton. Whilst an early car, by the time of the photo below the headlights have moved inwards and so it is likely to be after the factory service sheet issued in January 1933. The headlight brackets may have been fitted at the same time as a new J2 engine (ex. J3153) was fitted in April 1933.
Can anyone help identify the driver and event captured in the photo below? The entry number appears to be "8". I would also be grateful for a clearer image of the car.
