The Register shows ZI 5553 to be the Registration for 2M1992.

There has not been any recent news but when last heard of was reported to be in Belina, Co Mayo. One for our super sleuth Simon Johnston to chase up!

That’d be Ballina, George.

I’ll certainly put my Free State spies to work but there isn’t much by way of a Triple-M community in Ireland, North or South. So unless it has been transmogrified into a K3 chassis and left lying in a field for some lucky buyer from England to find it, I wouldn’t be optimistic. But you never know.

This is a slightly better (but only slightly) version of the picture which apparently appeared in The Sunday Independent on 12 April 2009. I wonder why?

Simon, it was in a BBC4 programme - Ireland’s Treasures Uncovered - its on iPlayer. Mr Sheehan had a priceless Celtic gold Luna torque stolen from his chemist shop safe.
