Hi Chris
I think the car is a T type, the brake drums are certainly T type?

Hi Chris
Yes, T type. As George says the brakes are a give away, so are the wheels, rad surround, door pockets and just look how far apart the driver and passenger can be

I thought so and does pertain to be a TC ... but don't they look like Hartford shockers on the front? With 3 rubber strips on the running-boards, I think ... could be TA or TB and not a TC?

An Eastbourne registration.
TC2888 is JK 9641.
This suggests TC, except that the tread strips suggest otherwise. |

Moving upwards ;
TB0286 (May 1939) is JK 8438.
Unlikely to be a TB as production ceased in October 1939, albeit some were not registered until 1940 and even 1941. |
