Thanks for posting the pictures Chris.

I am always amazed at how quick both drivers are, and how much maintenance must be involved to keep the cars so fast and reliable. Awesome!

Thanks, George.
Apparently both cars have had king pin/stub axle issues of late so always a good idea to pay them close attention!

Cheers,
Chris

Hello, Dan.
I should have said No.128 is a J2 chassis with P type engine. This is the Kayne Special.
No.129 is a PA.Both cars supercharged.

HI Chris. Great to see you again and thanks for the pictures. Great to have one with dad too. Correct in saying both have had front end issues so replacement axles and stub axles now on. Besides a few other issues when the cars have actually completed an event they've gone surprisingly well.

Saturday was a great success with both cars finally breaking the so far impossible 70 second barrier resulting in a 2nd (68.42s) and 3rd (69.85s) in class. Dad putting in a sterling effort for 3rd considering we think the Kaynes clutch linings are breaking up meaning he had to start it up in gear as it wont get out of neutral when running and it was slipping slightly off the start line!

Your right too George. We do wonder if its worth all the late evenings to get the cars ready but after days like at Loton it makes it all worth it.

Hello Harry.
It was great to see you and Mike too.
Well done breaking the 70 second class barrier, your granddad would be very proud of you and in his old P type too!
Welcome to the forum by the way.
Hope to see you and Mike soon,
Chris
